At only 16 years of age, Alysa Liu will be representing Team USA on the ice at this year’s Winter Olympics. She was the first American woman to land the quad Lutz. After winning her first U.S women’s national title at age 13, it looks promising that she will medal for Team USA in Beijing.

Born in Park City, Utah, Colby Stevenson is ready to win big in Beijing. Nothing has stopped him from doing what he loves. On Mother’s Day 2016, Stevenson was in a truck accident. His skull shattered in 30 places. But after three months of recovery, he was back on the slopes and even landing his favorite trick: the double cork 1080 blunt

Abby Roque | 24 | Hockey

At this year’s Winter Olympics Abby Roque will be the first indigenous woman to play women’s hockey on Team USA. She spent most of her childhood at the ice rink as her dad was a college hockey coach. Roque has accomplished a lot and even led her college team (the University of Wisconsin) to the 2019 national championship.

In 2018 at the Winter Olympics, Chloe Kim became the youngest woman to win gold in an Olympic snowboarding event (halfpipe). She was only 17. After taking a break from competition to heal a broken ankle and attend Princeton University, Beijing 2022 is her time to shine.

Winter Vinecki | 23 | Aerials

Aside from being the youngest person to run a marathon on all seven continents before age 15, Winter Vinecki also formed a nonprofit at nine years old. Team Winter raises money for cancer research in honor of her late father. With three World Cup podiums, Vinecki is ready to make her debut.

Erin Jackson | 29 | Speed Skating

After setting a new American record and being the first black woman to qualify for long track speed skating for Team USA in 2018, Erin Jackson is hopeful for gold in Beijing. And if she does, Jackson would be the first American woman to win gold in the 500m since 1994.
